Project planning

Palidor Radio Communications Consultants carries out a comprehensive and practical planning process that directly involves the users to ensure that the system design and implementation provides the most cost-effective, reliable, and functional communications capabilities to meet the short and long-term needs and expectations of the users.

Radio Frequency System Design

We design the radio frequency (RF) system to meet specific critical needs for reliable in-vehicle (mobile), and portable (handheld) two-way voice and data communications coverage, system access and capacity throughout the required areas of operations.

Regulatory Compliance

We conduct a comprehensive assessment of the regulatory (FCC and Canadian) issues, policies, rules and licensing requirements as an integral part of the system planning and design process. We maintain up-to-date knowledge about the narrow-banding requirements in the 150 – 174 MHz band, and the 450 – 512 MHz band, the 800 MHz band re-banding requirements, and the emerging 700 MHz band.

Interoperability
