Fire/EMS Wireless Mobile Data Communications

Wireless mobile data communications is a valuable tool as fire fighters and EMS technicians struggle against time to save property and lives. The more information the fire fighting and EMS crews have, the better prepared they are to handle any situation quickly and safely.

Handheld and vehicle mobile data communications terminals (mobile computers) and wireless communications systems increase the safety and security of the public and the emergency response personnel by providing:

  • Exact call for service information and street directions to get the life saving crew to the scene quickly.
  • Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) data to send the unit that can respond the quickest given existing traffic conditions.
  • Access to the latest property information including current status of on-site hazardous materials, and other up-to-date information that is critical to the safety of the fire-fighting personnel, and the public.
  • Up-to-the minute information about road closures, and hydrant status.
  • Access to critical medical information.
  • Patient and address history for quicker appropriate action upon arrival.
  • Ability to complete incident reports from the vehicle.
